WEBSITE www.wildernesstours.com Your next step is to visit our website for the most up to date information. Our programs and rates are subject to change without notice. Rates are in Canadian $ and are converted to US or other currencies on your credit card bill.

RESERVATIONS Reservations are required and can be made by calling WT at 1.888.RAFT.NOW (723.8669) with Amex/Visa/Mastercard or by mail with certified cheque or money order. A 50% deposit is required to confirm your reservation with the balance due 30 days in advance of arrival (WT will automatically debit your credit card). Reservations within 30 days of your trip require full payment when reserving. While unlikely, if we must cancel, a full refund or alternate date will be provided. We reserve the right to change to a different section of river, use a different size raft or alter the trip to provide the safest and/or best experience possible.

GROUP RATES You raft free when bringing a group of 12 rafters e.g. a group of 12 has 11 paid spots and 1 free, a group of 24 would have 22 paid spots and 2 free and so on. One free in 12 applies to packages and day trips (but not special programs). Organizers of 12 rafters or more are automatically enrolled in our prestigious #1 CLUB. Call for our group organizer Planner Pak. DVD’s highlighting everything WT has to offer are also available.

CANCELLATION AND INSURANCE *$9/day or $35/week Full refunds are issued only if cancellation notice is received in writing more than 30 days prior to the trip date. No refunds or alternate dates are issued within 30 days of trip date without cancellation insurance which must be purchased when reserving. Cancellation insurance is redeemable only in the event of illness, accident or family bereavement. When documented proof is received, a refund will be issued only to the guest with cancellation insurance seeking a refund.

SAFETY AND LIABILITY While no experience is necessary, we insist you be in good health and possess average swimming ability. Minimum age is 13 years and minimum weight is 41 kg (90 lbs) for High Adventure rafting. Minimum age is 7 years and minimum weight is 23 kg (50 lbs) for Gentle Family rafting. Although we spare no effort to ensure a safe experience, we can assume no responsibility for your safety or loss of personal equipment. In the activities we provide, an element of risk is inherent and beyond human control. A signed liability release is required of all participants and a parent/guardian release for minors (under 18). A copy of our release may be obtained in advance or downloaded from our website. WE PREFER YOU COMPLETE THE LIABILITY RELEASE FORM ONLINE PRIOR TO ARRIVAL.

INCLUDED IN YOUR RAFT TRIP All river trips are 4-6 hours long and include paddle, life jacket, helmet and guide service. Packages include stated meals, campsite and facility use. Facility use is included for daytrippers only on trip day. Day visitors to WT not in a program must purchase an activity package.

SECURITY DEPOSIT Accommodation, wet suit, bike and Kayak School equipment rental require credit card imprint security deposit. We accept Visa, Mastercard and Amex.

PETS Sorry, no pets are allowed.

GRATUITIES AND TIPPING Like any service industry employee, our staff appreciates a tip for outstanding service. This is done easily and without any awkwardness at WT. Because our guides move to another resort job after guiding, you will have an opportunity to tip at our “guest questionnaire” location. You will find a questionnaire, paper, pen, envelope and drop safe for your convenience. We want to continually improve and Joe and Joanne read every guest comment. As a general rule, most of our guests tip about 15%, the same as a server or bartender. Some tip more considering the guide or instructor is important to providing as safe and fun filled experience as possible.

PHOTO/VIDEO SERVICE Souvenir photos and DVD’s are available for most trips and are discounted with advance reservation.

HOW TO DRESS FOR YOUR TRIP We paddle rain or shine and never cancel due to weather. We STRONGLY recommend low cut running shoes, shorts or bathing suit, WOOL sweater and NYLON windbreaker. COTTON MAKES YOU COOL AND IS NOT ADVISABLE. Wet suits are complimentary in May and September (after Labour Day). In the summer, we recommend you rent (on site) a full or a half suit depending on the weather. Eyeglasses must be secured.

WHAT TO BRING OVERNIGHTING If you’re camping, bring tent, sleeping bag, foam pad and towel. You may also want to bring folding camp chairs and table. Our rental accommodations include all bedding and towels. Everyone should bring flashlight, wind up alarm and warm clothing for evenings. Your campsite is included in all programs and packages except day programs and adventure weeks.

LATE ARRIVALS
