Companies Facts

NANOPHOX is an innovative Photon Cross Correlation (PCC) sensor developed by the German company Sympatec allowing simultaneous measurement of particle size and stability of opaque emulsions and suspensions in the nanometer size. Photon Cross Correlation Spec- troscopy (PCCS) can analyse suspended nano-particles in unrivalled quality.

NANPHOX allows to extract single scattered information only, the amplitude of this scattered light intensity is available for further evaluation.

Founded in 1984 as a spin-off from the Technical University of Clausthal, Germany, Sympatec is a ma- nufacturer of equipment for characterisation of size, shape, distribution and concentration of particulate and disperse products.

Sympatec has made available an Assortment of instru- ments using Laser Diffraction (LD), Ultrasonic Extinction (USE), Image Analysis (IA) and Photon Cross Correlation Spectroscopy (PCCS) principles for the characterisation of size, shape, distribution and concentration.
