Te School Bus Safety Company introduced its latest driver training module that
focuses on bullying prevention. The new course, “Bullying Prevention on the School Bus,” is being touted as “the first-ever, professionally-developed curriculum created specifically to address the challenges school bus drivers face.” The course includes three DVDs, a Trainer’s Guide and a Driver’s Job Aid that covers three topics: Bullying – How do I recog- nize it?; Bullying – What can I do about it? and; Handling bullying situations.

Cleaire Advanced Emission Controls
offers a LongMile diesel particulate filter as Level 3+ for on-road applications. It was veri- fied last year by the California Air Resources Board and the EPA. Cleaire said the CARB Level 3+ designation means the LongMile successfully demonstrated diesel particulate matter (PM) emission reductions of greater than 85 percent while meeting the NO2 emission standard. Effective last October, this CARB verification allows the LongMile to be installed on 1993 through 2006 model-year engines from 5.3 to 16 liters. Te verification also makes the LongMile eligible for govern- ment financial incentive programs used to meet regulatory requirements.
