Not convinced you’re never more than 10 ft. from a casting? Follow us though this timeline.


An MCDP Staff Report


You go to get dressed for the day. To retrieve your clothing, you grasp a casting and pull—many drawer knobs are cast metal.


4:00—


You call your spouse and say you’ll be late getting home. Cast clamps and guides help carry the message.


2:30—


You have a meeting with a new cus- tomer. A casting houses the projector you use to put on your presentation.


8:00—


8:15—


You wake up and trudge to the shower. You step into the casting that is your bathtub.


5:15—


6:30—


You fi re up your car. A casting helps provide the power to the drivetrain.


You light candles for the dinner table to make your spouse forget you were late. A casting holds the candles up.
