No nasty surprises with Safe Touch by Intatec
Intatec has introduced a range of showers with new Safe Touch
technology, adding a new level to the comfort and convenience of anti-scald showering.
Safe Touch is a range of thermostatic shower valves designed so that the body of the valve does not become any hotter than the water delivered from the valve. This is different from standard type shower valves, where the metal body of the valve in normal operation can become as hot as the inlet water coming into the valve, straight from the hot water storage tank or the boiler.
The brass casting of the shower valve has been designed to have a sleeve of hot water at outlet temperature around the outside of the shower body, rather than hot at one end and cold at the other, as in traditional formats. This innovation keeps hot water away from the surface of the valve, at the same time having hot and cold inlets in conventional positions and being able to retain cartridge technology for ease of maintenance for the anti- scald feature of the device.

Triton extends shower options to provide something for everyone
Triton’s extended T80Z range includes new thermostatic, Slimline and Eco options offering separate power and temperature controls; a start/stop button; and a five-spray showerhead.
The company’s wax capsule technology provides the thermostatic stability for the affordable T80Z thermostatic models, making them the quickest and easiest fit for installers.
