Croydex unveil the innovative Space Saver Rod
Offering the perfect space-saving solution for the smaller bathroom, Croydex’s innovative Space Saver Rod is a simple way of adding more space where it is most needed. Suitable for hanging any textile or vinyl shower curtain, the Space Saver Rod can be used in two positions; either curving out round the bath to create more room when in the shower or flipped to sit within the bath when it is not in use, creating more space in the bathroom and enabling the curtain to dry inside the bath. When the rod is flipped over the bath it provides the ideal space for drip-drying clothes and towels, with excess water draining into the bath rather than on to the bathroom floor.
This simple idea gives 20% more shower space or room
space which is particularly noticeable in a compact bathroom. The rod is simple to install and can be effortlessly flipped either in or out of the bath with a handy accessory to flip the rod over.
Measuring 1800mm long, Croydex’s Space Saver Rod has a stylish chrome effect finish and is the ideal space- saving solution for the overbath shower.

Specially crafted to follow the contours of P-shaped bath tubs, the ‘Curved’ bath screen creates the ideal environment for showering in comfort. Extremely popular in compact bathrooms, the curved shape is utilised to provide more space specifically for showering. Creating a flexible bathing solution, the bulbous end of the bathtub creates a much more generous standing area. For those with a standard bath tub, the ‘Radius’ model makes the perfect addition as it features a straight screen and interesting curved corners.
To ensure a smooth and easy installation process, both screens provide 20mm adjustability. The ‘Curved’ bath screen measures 1500mm high and 710mm wide, whereas the ‘Radius’ bath screen measures 1500mm high and 850mm wide. Both the Shine ‘Curved’ and ‘Radius’ bath screen retail from £149 including VAT.

Bristan launches new electric shower range
Bristan is driving innovation in electric showers with the launch of a new stylish range.
The collection has been created to suit a range of homeowners with each model trading up from the last in terms of design and budget. The four distinctive models in the range, Smile, Glee, Joy and Bliss, offer consumers a choice of design, colour and functionality. The ideal replacement shower, each model has the benefit of five water and electrical cable entry points providing homeowners with flexibility to work around existing pipe work, minimising installation time, cost and disruption. The footprint of the shower units has been designed to cover most old shower fixings and the brackets on the riser rail can also be adjusted to cover old holes.
All showers have separate temperature controls and the Joy, Glee and Bliss also includes a digital temperature indicator. Selected models also include a phased shutdown where cold water runs on to allow the heat exchanger to cool, avoiding a hot water blast when the next person turns it on. It also helps reduce the build up limescale.
