Kyle, Mason and Ryan Earn All-ACC Academic Honors


On March 30th, Ryan, Mason and Kyle were named to the 2011 All-ACC Academic Team, marking the 17th straight year at least one Blue Devil has made the ACC’s academic squad. To be eligible for consideration, a student-athlete must have earned a 3.00 GPA for the previous semester and maintained a 3.00 cumulative average during his academic career.


Duke was the lone school to place three players on the squad and has averaged over two selections per year over the last 15 seasons. Congrats to Ryan, Mason and Kyle!


Kyle, Mason and Ryan enjoyed terrific years on and off the court, balancing their rigorous schedules at a very high level. Mason won the annual Hart Award given to the team’s top scholar-athlete at our banquet, in part thanks to an unbelievable 3.92 GPA in the fall semester!!!!!
