FALL 2010: Competed in all four fall events…Notched three top-20 finishes…Came in sixth at Cornell Invitational (9/26) after rounds of 72, 71, and 76.
SPRING 2010: Saw action in five events, placing as highest Saint finisher in two…Led team by tying for 57th at Towson Fireline
Invitational after rounds of 78, 81, and 77 (3/28)…Led Lafayette Invitational after opening-round 73, and finished second after second-round 71 (4/12)…Finished seventh at MAAC Championships with score of 227 (80-72-75).
FALL 2009: Played in three fall tournaments, placing as the highest Siena finisher in each one…Fired rounds of 74 and 71 to place tied for 15th overall in collegiate debut at the Navy Invitational (9/12-13)…Shot lowest round of the fall for any Siena golfer (70) in finishing tied for sixth overall at the Cornell Invitational (9/26-27)…Placed tied for 11th overall (77-76) at the Lehigh Invitational (10/17-18).
BEFORE SIENA: Played four years of varsity golf and hockey…Three-time Individual State Champion and four- time All-State selection…Posted numerous junior golf tour- nament wins and top-10 finishes…Four-time All-Conference and All-State selection in hockey where he held individual scoring records.
PERSONAL: Born May 7, 1991…The son of Vaughn and Kelly Gushee…Has an older brother, Grant, who attends the Maine Maritime Academy…A businessmajor…Enjoys fishing and playing basketball and ping-pong in his spare time.
