Routes Europe: regional agenda

With more than 3,000 route development meetings taking place over the course of two days, this year’s Routes Europe event will offer airlines and airports with an unrivalled platform on which to do business face-to-face with the key decision makers in the industry. their route networks and opening access to previously underserved cities and regions. Their role in the continent’s connectivity and economic development is crucial. For this reason, this year in Cagliari – itself a shining example of a regional gateway that has increased its low-cost airline offering – the focus will be on regional and no-frills carriers. Complimenting this is ACI EUROPE’s Regional Airports’ Forum (RAF) 4th Annual Conference, which will be co-located at the Forte Village with Routes Europe. ACI EUROPE’s Regional Airports’ Forum has 138 members, made up of small and medium-sized airports. The conference will discuss issues facing regional gateways in Europe and offer creative and innovative solutions for increasing traffi c and revenues.
