GREEN HIGHLIGHTS
A
Structural walls are framed at 24” OC with 2x6 lumber, allowing for higher insulating values.

B
On the exterior, fiber-cement siding with stone veneer accents ensures a low-maintenance, long-lasting shell.

C
Most of the home’s hot water will be supplied by solar panels, and a large part of the rear roof will be covered with photovoltaic “shingles” that produce electricity.

D
All appliances are Energy Star compliant, and all faucets and fixtures are low-flow models.

E
A central vacuum system removes dust from living areas.

F
Attic space is conditioned, sealed with spray foam, so no venting is required.

G
Reclaimed wood will be used for flooring in several rooms, along with “pebble” floors in wet areas.
