Our new 10-day Spirit of the Desert adventure takes you inside six of America’s most beautiful national parks with on-tour filmed narratives by the two men who know these magnificent places the best. According to Ken Burns, there are three things that are uniquely American: baseball, jazz music and the Constitution. We are excited to explore, in-depth, two of these national icons in 2011. We focus on jazz in New Orleans on a toe-tapping 5-day Event that celebrates this “genius” art form. Constitutional issues and the Civil War take center stage on our 11-day journey, Most Hallowed Ground, and during an unforgettable 5-day Civil War Event in Washington, DC. What better way to understand these pivotal topics, and who we are as Americans, than through the eyes of the storyteller who is one of the foremost authorities on both subjects?
