First Words
I always find tradeshows an exciting opportunity to get a real feel for the industry I work in.
As some of you may know, I’ve got a fairly diverse trade publishing background spanning timber, cranes and mobile phones. But each one has its own international tradeshows that give us journalists plenty to get excited about.
And so, it’s with great expectations that I head to ISPO. Although many brands have noted that ISPO is no longer the event it was, and questioned what can actually be gained from attending such an event, I find myself looking forward to walking the floor, catching up with old faces, meeting new ones and getting to know the ins and outs of one or two products.
We’ve done plenty of coverage of ISPO so far in SGB Sports, including a handy pull-out supplement last month, which I hope to see plenty of people using across the show.
Talking of last month, this copy of SGB Sports is the second issue where we have worked tirelessly to put in place a new structure that will help you get the most out of the magazine. From analysis and industry comment in the Industry section, information on new products and those that have been tried and tested in Buying, and brand and product information to make the selling process easier in selling, I hope this new layout is working for you.
I always appreciate your feedback, so do drop me a line with any comments or suggestions that can continue to make SGB Sportsrelevant to your business.
