Designer Germán Frers and builder Hall- berg-Rassy teamed up once again to deliver an- other fantastic cruiser in the hr 342. Based on the success of the Hallberg-Rassy 34 (over 500 hulls built), this new Frers design features an under- body with long waterline and wider aft sections for better performance. Her Selden fractional rig with aft swept spreaders allows for a large main- sail and smaller jib that is easier to tack than a large overlapping genoa. All major control lines are led aft behind the windscreen to Dove’s com- fortable cockpit where the traveler and mainsheet are right at the skipper’s fi ngertips. Below decks, her precisely fi tted mahogany interior is beauti- fully fi nished in satin varnish. Her two-stateroom layout is very spacious for 34 feet, providing a well confi gured salon and galley that will comfortably accommodate two couples. Storage is abundant and designed to meet the needs of long-term cruising. Dove is in like new condition and nicely equipped for Pacifi c Northwest cruising. – swiftsure yachts
