The Award Ceremony took place at the Strand Hotel in Yangon where Lyndon and Penelope addressed the audience of more than 400 people about “Preparing Tomorrow’s Managers Today” and “Opportunities in Higher Education” respectively. During the event, Alan Smart, Director of the British Council, presented Myanmar Human Resources (MHR) with a Long Standing Partnership Award from ABE, to honour the continuing strong relationship between the two organisations.

During their visit, Lyndon and Penelope also met with representatives from all ABE accredited institutions to discuss various issues including plans for the future of ABE in Myanmar as well as the implementation of proposed changes to the ABE programme structure.

ABE enjoys a good relationship with the British Council in Myanmar and wishes to thank Wendy Tin Win Kyi for her excellent work on its behalf.
