New Products New grill from Campingaz

has triple the appeal This new grill from Campingaz has been designed to bring ultimate cooking flexibility to the campsite in a portable, compact offering. Extremely easy to use, the camper can choose between a variety of cooking options from grill cooking - preparing the perfect steaks, sausages and grilled vegetables; griddle cooking - making pancakes, eggs and cooking more delicate food such as fish; and flame stove, for simply boiling water for the morning cup to tea to creating a family sized stir-fry.

The powerful burner (1500W) has been designed in a way that creates optimum and even cooking heat across the large cooking surface (645cm_). It is ideal for cooking up family or group feasts at the campsite and thanks to the large lid, in windy conditions, the cooking surface can be kept protected when grilling or griddling.

The removable grill plate is constructed in such a way that fat is not able to drop onto the burner which in turn minimises smoke and flare-ups. The removable grill and griddle feature a non- stick coating and there’s a removable drip pan. A porcelain-coated lid provides a high-quality appearance yet also resists

rust.

The 3 in One Grill is easy to transport with the different cooking surfaces locking down securely. A carry bag is included.

There are two versions of the 3 in One Grill available so the consumer can choose between ultimate portability or an extended run time. For long run times, the Campingaz R version operates off Campingaz or other large butane cylinders offering run times of up to 25 hours (based on a Campingaz R907 cylinder). The Campingaz cartridge version is the ideal choice when compactness and convenience are top priorities, operating off the compact Campingaz CV470 Plus resealable gas cartridges.

Deuter Protector: Descentor

It works like armour, carries it all and is built to take a beating: the Descentor is Deuter’s new specific winter pack with integrated back protector – a high tech, extremely flexible construction equipped with heaps of features. Slim and clean in appearance, the Descentor accommodates skis, boards and snowshoes, and leaves plenty of room for a day’s worth of essentials.

Whether cruising on-piste or are out on a backcountry mission, the Descentor will protect while functioning as a pack for all essentials. It features a built-in TÜV inspected PSA back protector in viscose-elastic SC-1 Foam from SaS-Tec. The Shield is comprised of two sheets made of hard, closed-cell foam for shock absorption, and softer cell foam for comfort. The flexible construction has been further optimised, so that the pack moulds to the torso and follows every movement.

With its many carry options, skis can be mounted on the sides, diagonally or on the front, and boards can be carried vertically or horizontally. Snow shoes and poles can also be securely attached. Loaded with all these features, this highly innovative pack still appears clean and streamlined.

The neoprene hip belt comes with pull-forward adjusters, chest straps are height adjustable (and feature an emergency whistle), while the insulated tube integrated in the shoulder strap prevents hydration freeze-ups. The Descentor also features a soft, fleece-lined goggle pocket. Inside, a separate compartment stores probe and shovel handle, there is a further mesh compartment and a valuables pocket with key clip. The Descentor EXP 18 SL for a shorter torso offers complete TÜV/CE approved

protection for a back length (top of hip to inner shoulder) of 38-49 cm; the Descentor EXP 22 for back lengths of 44-54 cm. Both Descentors can be expanded by further 4 litres.
