range of sleeping bags. The Arid Zone name is applied because at the head and foot of the bag, we coat it in Pertex Endurance, a fully waterproof fabric, so if you’re in a shelter where you’re touching the inside skin, none of the moisture will permeate the sleeping bag. It will run off. That way the process of leaving in the morning speeds up as you’re not waiting for the bag to dry, carrying a heavier bag because it’s wet, and of course you’re not sleeping with wet feet. try and undo the side zip and it’s quite a big movement. In a centre zip bag, you just lift your hand and you can undo the zip. Also, if you undo the zip, and then turn in your sleep, the bag will turn with you. The key areas around your torso, with this bag, shouldn’t be exposed. The other benefit is that the zip can come right under your chin and means the bag’s thermal capabilities are improved as it sort of hugs the face. Much less heat is lost out of the top of the bag as a result. Insulation comes from an 800- rated 90-10 down, sourced from Eastern Europe, the fabric is a nice soft 20 denier. We do it in three
