CRANE PAYMENT SOLUTIONS

Crane Payment Solutions: You asked, we listened!

Crane Payment Solutions and its best-known brand in the gaming world, CashCode, has a lot to shout about – here’s a taste of what you’ll be able to see at G2E in November…

f you said the word CashCode around gaming executives, chances are they know what you are talking about. If you say the words Crane Payment Solutions, you may not get the same reaction. In January 2006, Crane Payment

Solutions was formed through the purchase of CashCode and consolidated with other cash handling companies; NRI of Germany, and Telequip Corp. of Salem, USA. And nearly five years later with a strong business model, fine-tuned engineering and proven results, people are looking at the CashCode brand in a whole new light. The Crane business model ensures that customers

are the #1 priority. They conduct many VOC (voice of the customer) sessions, analyze the data and develop products to suit their customer’s needs. A few examples are the truly universal CashCode one™ bank note validator, true self-centering guides and the popular Last Five Bills Inserted report stemming from the oneCheck™solution. The CashCode one™bank note validator is truly

the first high security, universal bank note validator. Through VOC, customers requested a validator that could use all protocols, with any currency and any voltage, and Crane was able to deliver. To further enhance the CashCode one™validator, Crane Payment Solutions will introduce an 800 Note Cashbox at the Global Gaming Expo in Las Vegas next month. It will become the new gaming standard for cashbox capacity and a welcomed addition to the casino floor.

2500 Note Cashbox Along with the 800 Note Cashbox, Crane Payment

Solutions has also developed a high capacity 2500 Note Cashbox. Crane Payment Solutions is currently in field trials with their 2500 Note Cashbox which was developed for Bill-Breaking & Ticket Redemption kiosks and change machines. The VOC suggestion was to create a highly reliable, drop-proof high capacity cashbox that can handle the overwhelming volume of tickets on the casino floor. Today, through the use of the CashCode one™validator and 2500 Note Cashbox, the frequency of cash drops can be cut in half!

38 OCTOBER 2010 The oneCheck™cash management solution is an oneCheck

easy-to-use transaction tracking and dispute resolution system that can easily be integrated into any gaming hall or casino floor. It comes as a standard offering when you purchase the CashCode one™and currently the Nanoptix PayCheck™4 printer. The three reports provide information on financial contents of the cashbox (notes and tickets), on-the-spot performance statistics and firmware verification of both the printer and bill validator, and a Last Five Bills Inserted report. These features/functions have been developed with direct VOC from casino operators in an effort to improve player experience/retention while driving efficiency on the floor with no incremental cost to the operator.

The CashCode Bill-to-Bill™60 is the first proven, Bill-to-Bill note recycler

highly efficient, single denomination bank note recycler. It is especially popular in the AWP market where change or winnings can be paid back to the customer in note form rather than coins. By recycling cash from customer to customer, your overall float levels are lower (prevents coin starvation) which equals lower operational costs for the Operator. The strategic objective of Crane Payment Solutions

is to become a complete peripheral payment solutions provider with the You asked, We listened attitude. From bank note validators and recyclers to coin dispensers, hoppers and recyclers tied strongly to ticket printers, Crane Payment Solutions has come a long way from its roots and will continue to lead the way in providing solutions to their customer’s needs – just “Ask and We Will Listen”.
