Athletes and spectators may park in the Ferguson Parking Deck, Ferguson surface lot and the Campus Drive Parking Deck (0.5 miles from the race site). The Ferguson parking is located at the corner of Campus Drive West and McCorvey Drive. The Campus Drive Parking Deck is located at the corner of Campus Drive East and Hackberry Lane (0.7 miles from the race site). Make sure to plan accordingly in the morning for the walk down to the venue. DO NOT park on the sides of Jack Warner Parkway, Old Hackberry Lane or in dormitory parking. Violators will be towed at the owner’s expense. (There may be a fee if you come before the allotted times.)
AWARDS Awards will be given 10-deep for every age group and three-deep for the Athena and Clydesdale
categories of 39 & under and 40 & over in the Age Group National Championship. In the Sprint National Championship, the top three finishers in each age group will receive awards.
To be eligible for awards you must: • Be a U.S. citizen OR
• Be a U.S. national – someone who has resided in the US for three consecutive years. Clydesdale and Athena
Athletes in the Clydesdale and Athena categories will be placed in the wave corresponding to their age group, but awards will be given for the top three in the 39 and under and 40 and over categories. There are no World Championship qualifying slots for in the Clydesdale or Athena categories. It is the athletes’ responsibility to compare their times with their corresponding age group times and contact USAT staff prior to the award ceremony to claim their spot if they have qualified.
TOWN HALL MEETING All athletes are cordially invited to the annual USA Triathlon Town Hall Meeting. Each year USA
Triathlon‘s Age Group Committee hosts the Town Hall meeting as part of the Age Group National Championship weekend. A presentation of the state of USAT and the sport of triathlon in the U.S. will be given by acting executive director Tim Yount, along with officers from the USAT National Board of Directors. Ample time is available for a question and answer period after the presentation for anyone who would like to address the panel. Come on out and find out the latest news about USAT and get your questions answered.
The Town Hall Meeting will be held on Saturday, Sept. 25 at 5 p.m. in the Sellers Auditorium of the Bryant Conference Center.
