CAMPAIGN
We’re backing agents
Check out our campaign to support agents who sell short breaks and short haul holidays and win a trip to fabulous Costa Brava - Pirineu de Girona. Join our online community
Once and for all it’s time to dispel some myths. Our research shows short breaks and short haul holidays are big sellers and big earners for agents and it’s time to acknowledge them and the success this sector can bring.
We’re backing agents As the only trade publication dedicated to supporting those agents who specialise in this lucrative sector, we are championing your cause. We’re calling on all those equally committed to get behind our WE’RE BACKING AGENTS campaign.
So, get involved at our new WE’RE BACKING AGENTS microsite dedicated to bringing agents all the latest news, offers and incentives. This will also act as a forum where active agents can share their short break and short haul successes, tips and ideas (see page 47).
Ask the experts
In addition, the WE’RE BACKING AGENTS campaign will bring together specific destination experts to brainstorm new initiatives designed to help agents sell. First up, will be Destination Dialogue events on Iceland and Portugal, the results of which will be fully reported on the microsite and in our future issues. If you actively sell these destinations and want to get involved, sign up to the WE’RE BACKING AGENTS campaign via our website where you will find details regularly updated.

This is a perfect destination far from the madding crowd surrounded by valleys, peaks and waterfalls. Sandra Perich, at the tourist
board said: “We are delighted to back this campaign. Helping agents to sell our destination is crucial for our region’s success. Any initiative which supports short haul agents and helps them build their knowledge and sales skills is fantastic.”
