Nanotech 2010 Conference and Expo – Summary (Part II)


NSTI Nanotech 2010 ( TechConnect World 2010) took place in Anaheim, CA, USA, in June 2010. It is the primary industry event on nanotechnology and clean technology in the world. The event were organized by The Nano Science and Technology Institute (NSTI; http://www.nsti.org).


In this issue, we will publish our second part with introductions of single companies, poster sessions and general impressions. Dozens of new products and technologies were unveiled on the show. Here are some examples:


Shlomo Magdassi, Michael Grouchko, Alexander Kamyshny from the Casali Institute for Applied Chemistry, Institute of Chemistry, The Hebrew University of Jerusalem, Israel, demonstrated with their presentation “Conductive Ink-Jet Printing for Flexible and Plastic Electronics” a new technology enabling to achieve high conductivities of printed patterns even at room temperature due to a new sintering process of metallic nanoparticles.
