A vehicle stopped next to a female walking in a parking lot. A male passenger with a gun got out and grabbed her purse and threatened to kill her if she tried to call the police. He took her cellphone and got back in the vehicle, and it drove off. LAMONT ST., 600 block, 4:30 a.m. July 11. Three youths assaulted a male pedestrian, took property from his pockets and fled. MST., 1900 block, 6:05 p.m. July 9. A male snatched property from a female’s hand while she was in a restaurant and fled. He was chased and stopped by witnesses and then arrested by police. MST., 3200 block, 11:30 p.m. July 9 to 12:15 July 10. A female said that someone had bumped her several times in a nightclub. When she went to make a purchase, she discovered that her purse was unzipped and property was missing. MORRISON ST., 3200 block, 11:18 p.m. July 12. Three men approached a female standing near her vehicle, struck her in the head with a gun and stole her purse. NEW YORK AVE., 200 block, 8:42 p.m. July 9. A laptop computer and a wallet were taken from a male pedestrian who was punched in the head and knocked to the ground by three male youths. A police officer who fell while chasing a suspect was treated at an area hospital. OST., 400 block, 8:46 a.m. July 8. A person demanded a purse from a female as she was getting out of her car but walked away empty-handed when she began screaming for help. OGDEN ST., 1500 block, 1:46 a.m. July 12. A group of five males approached a male and female who were talking near a car and demanded money. When he refused, one of he males punched him in the face with a fist. Property was taken from his pockets, and the group fled. P ST.., 2000 block, 5 p.m. July 7. A man went to the checkout at a store, indicated he had a weapon under his shirt and demanded money. He took cash from the register and fled. QUINCY ST., 800 block, 1:30 p.m. July 7. A male bicyclist snatched property from a female pedestrian and rode off. RIDGE ST., 400 block, 6:30 a.m. July 9. A gunman took cash and a cellphone from a male who had just gotten out of his car. WALLACH PL., 1300 block, 5:55 p.m. to 6 p.m. July 8. A man put a gun to
the back of a male pedestrian’s head, took his property and fled on a bicycle. A 24-year-old man was arrested in the incident. WISCONSIN AVE., 5200 block, 12 p.m. July 12. A woman was sitting in a restaurant with her purse hanging on the back of her chair. She said her chair had been bumped several times. She later discovered her wallet missing. FOURTH AND M STREETS., 7:30 a.m. July 9. A gunman ordered a male pedestrian to empty his pockets and lie face down on the ground. He complied, and the gunman took cash from his wallet and fled. FOURTH ST. AND MISSOURI AVE., 10:20 p.m. July 8. A male pedestrian was struck in the head and knocked to the ground while waiting to cross the street. A group of four males continued to beat him, stole his property and then fled. The victim was treated at a hospital. SEVENTH AND F STREETS, 10:40 p.m. July 13. Two people assaulted a male pedestrian, stole his cellphone and ran off.

A gunman approached a male as he was putting a bag into his vehicle, ordered him to lie on the ground, took property and fled, jumping a fence and then riding off on a bicycle. 11TH AND T STREETS, 9:45 p.m. July 10. A man struggled with a female pedestrian, took her possessions and fled.
13TH AND KENNEDY STREETS, 11:22 p.m. July 7. A man approached a male pedestrian and demanded cash. When he refused, an accomplice hit him on the head and dragged him to an alley, where he was punched and hit by more males. He screamed for help, as did a female who walked by the alley, and the assailants fled. 13TH ST., 3100 block, 12 p.m. July 12. A male youth tried to choke a male pedestrian, took property from his pockets and fled. 16TH ST. AND ARKANSAS AVE., 12:05 a.m. July 10. A group of five males surrounded a male pedestrian, demanding money. When he said he had none, they ordered him to undress. He complied, and they fled. 16TH ST., 2200 block, 2:30 a.m. July 10. Two men woke up a male who had fallen asleep in his vehicle. First they asked if he was okay or needed help. Then one of them, saying he had a gun, demanded the driver’s wallet. He did not comply and drove away. 16TH ST., 3700 block, 12:45 a.m. July 10. A man approached a female from behind while she was using a cellphone, grabbed her purse and fled. 17TH ST., 3300 block, 1 a.m. to 1:02 a.m. July 10. A man standing on a corner demanded property from a female walking by. He implied he had

SOUTHERN AVE., noon June 1 to June 30. A female with a mild case of dementia was sexually assaulted by amale nurse in a long-term care facility while he was bathing her. STANTON RD., 2700 block, 5 to 8 p.m. May 16. A mother reported that her son had been sexually assaulted by a male after playing a game at a residence. The case was under investigation. 46TH ST., 8 a.m. Feb. 20. The mother of an 8-year-old boy and a 5-year-old boy reported that another boy sexually assaulted both at his home.
