Mary Switzer Building Exterior Site Improvements

Pursuant to the National Environ- mental Policy Act, as amended (NEPA) (42 US.C. 4321, et seq.), and the Council on Environmen- tal Quality Regulations for Imple- menting the Procedural Provi- sions of NEPA (40 CFR parts 1500-1508), the U.S. General Ser- vices Administration (GSA) in cooperation with the National Capital Planning Commission has finalized an Environmental As- sessment (EA) to examine the environmental impacts of the proposed action. The proposed action is exterior site improve- ments at the Mary Switzer Fed- eral Building, located at 330 C Street, SW, Washington, DC. The Final EA analyzes the impacts of a range of alternatives on the natural and human environment. GSA has determined that a Find- ing of No Significant Impact (FONSI) is appropriate for the proposed action.

The Final EA and FONSI are being made available to the public and federal and local government agencies for review. Comments are due no later than Aug 9, 2010.
