DEL MAR THOROUGHBRED CLUB, San Diego, Calif.


Forty alumni and their guests joined the San Diego Alumni Association for their Annual Del Mar Thoroughbred Club event in San Diego, in August.


The Eastern Mass. Alumni Association held its annual event on July 28.


JACOB’S PILLOW, Becket,Mass. The Annual Pioneer Valley Alumni Association Jacob’s Pillow event was held in Becket,Mass., in July. Many of the 100 guests and friends paused to be photographed in front of the Ted Shawn Theatre. Shawn H’36, former Springfield College dance faculty member and honorary master’s degree recipient, founded Jacob’s Pillow in 1931.


STI-YU-KA, Springfield,Mass.


As part of the annual STI-YU-KA celebration held in April, a variety of events and games were hosted on campus, including the Greased Pole Climb and Oatmeal Pass, sponsored by the Student Alumni Association.


METS BASEBALL, Flushing, N.Y.


The Greater NewYork, New Jersey, and Connecticut Alumni Association hosted 130 alumni and friends for their social at the Mets baseball game at Citi Field in Flushing, N.Y., in August.


STEPPING UP DAY, Springfield,Mass.


On April 16, in keeping with Springfield College tradition, senior students stepped up to become members of the Alumni Association, and underclass students celebrated their move up to their next academic year.
