Mortgagepaymentprotection from British Insurance P
ayment protection provider British Insurance has launched its Mortgage Payment Protection Insurance, with unemployment-only options. As well as options for unemployment, accident or sickness or all three, the new plan will cover up to £2,000 worth of mortgage payments, including any related expenses, such as endowment savings plans, and varies its waiting
periods between 30 and 180 days.
There is a “back to work assistance” service and carer cover, so that those who have to leave work to care for a family member still receive an income for up to a year.

anchester-based insurance broker CBG Group has appointed five graduates to its headquarters team. Stuart Turnbull has been appointed marketing manager. After completing a 12-month industrial placement in 2005, he joined CBG in July 2006 as IT manager. He starts a Masters in Business Administration in September.
Jim Rainford is joining as business development co- ordinator, after completing a degree in international business,
David Goodliffe has
completed an MA in banking and finance at Newcastle University. He supports financial administration for CBG’s private clients.
David Kennedy will join the team when he graduates in June from Manchester Metropolitan University, and Gary Kinley is on an industrial placement with CBG, having worked as a network administrator in global communications for the Navy.

It offers tailored cover for professional indemnity risks, including cover for privacy, network security and information technology liability for customers within the technology sector. V= has announced that it is currently recruiting for over 160 jobs in its general insurance business. The jobs will be based in offices in Bournemouth, Croydon, Basildon, Huddersfield, Leeds and Bristol.
