THE PROMISE:To abolish the 10p tax rate

Brown defended his decision to abolish the lowest tax rate of 10 pence, despite facing opposition within his own party. In an interview with Jon Snow on 15th April 2008, Brown refused to accept that the move would leave people out of pocket.
