PhoneShield

The PhoneShield is a small device designed to negate the electro magnetic radiation emitted by mobile phones. The button-sized PhoneShield sticks onto mobile phones, and its crystal

technology emits its own low-frequency signal which is intended to scramble the phone’s pulsed frequency pattern, alleviating its harmful effect on the brain and the body’s biological system. St. George’s cross PhoneShields have been launched for the World Cup.

Mitre

Tensile

Mitre says this is the most

advanced

football in the world. The

Tensile has a 10- panel configuration

designed to deliver more power and speed. With improved stability and aerodynamics, Tensile is manufactured in a soft and flexible microfibre outer with a grained surface to help keep control. It also has 30% less stitching to optimise airflow and minimise drag, the company says. The Cincap 5 ply lining system balances the ball’s lining and outer material.

Mizuno

Wave Ignitus

The Wave

Ignitus is made from what Mizuno

promises to be the highest- grade kangaroo leather, and it

claims its Dynamotion Fit Engineering ensures the best-fitting power boot on the market. The Wave Ignitus is fitted with a 360° Bio Panel around the toes of the upper, which is designed to assist ball control, while the Speed Panel inserted on the inside of the boots should aid precision to dead ball strikes by reducing spin and thereby increasing ball speed by up to 10%.

adidas

Predator X

Adidas claims the Predator X gives an extra 7% power over other Predator

boots. Key to its design is

Powerspine, which is said to

reduce the foot’s underside reflex for maximun connection with the ball. A Taurus leather core, combined with Thermoform memory foam and Optifit, are intended to provide a lightweight fit. The company says a new Predator Zone, in a mix of rubber and silicon, increases swerve. Predator X is available in a new White, Yellow and Black design to complement existing colours.
