IN GREENBORO
Duke has won 83 games all-time in the Greensboro Coliseum,
including 33 in the ACC Tournament. The Blue Devils are 19-1 in
the past 20 contests held at the coliseum, including 11 straight
wins. Coach K won his first-ever ACC Tournament crown in
the venue in 1986 and has since won four more titles, including
2010.
The crowds all week for our games in Greensboro featured a
heavy shade of Duke Blue, particularly on Sunday for the cham-
pionship game when only the Blue Devils and Yellow Jackets
remained. “There’s an honor to being in the ACC,” said Coach K
when the tourney last visited Greensboro in 2006. “And being
in this venue in Greensboro, the whole city opens its arms up.
