This is the first time we have received the cross-industry best lender
accolade and we are delighted to win. Our commitment to the
intermediary market remains central to our distribution strategy.
Throughout 2009 we increased our lending by £5.7bn to £88bn which
underlines our commitment to the market in a year when brokers
really needed support from lenders. We have provided a greater share
of new lending than ever before without engaging in dual pricing.
