Additional Services Universal Media Interface (UMI)
The Universal Media Interface (UMI) is a product which will turn your standard audio 20 unit into an innovative and multifunctional navigation and entertainment system. The UMI will allow your Mercedes-Benz to have the following features: • Navigation • MP3 Music • Audio Streaming
With the Universal Media Interface, you can plug in your iPod/iPhone. You can also connect to the audio system via Bluetooth from your mobile, and listen to your favourite music tracks from your mobile phone through the audio system. There is also an auxiliary point, in which you can listen to your favourite cassettes by connecting a now near classic walkman.
Another benefit of this product is a fully integrated navigation system for Europe. This navigation system is displayed on screen and includes features, such as:
• Day and Night mode display • Speed assistant • Lane assistant Tracker Stolen Vehicle Recovery
Tracker Monitor operates using Tracker’s proven Very High Frequency (VHF) technology. In the event of theft where the vehicle is moved without the ignition being turned on, the motion sensor will alert TRACKER who will in turn notify you.
On confirmation of the theft and receipt of your crime reference number, TRACKER will activate the unit, which will emit a silent signal allowing the police to track the vehicle to its exact location.
In addition to the stress of having your Mercedes-Benz stolen in the first place, the last thing you want to hear is that your car is 100 miles away in an undesirable area. That’s why the TRACKER team offer a Guard and Recover service as standard on all systems. TRACKER will send a uniformed security guard to wait with your vehicle after the police recovery and ensure it is safely returned to you.
