Mercedes-Benz Approved Tyres

Tyres are the only connection between your car and the road. The condition of your tyres is critical to minimising stopping distances. Did you know it is a legal requirement that your tyres have a minimum tread depth of 1.6mm? Remember, running on illegal tyres can cost you 3 points on your driving licence and upto a £2500 fine per tyre, so why risk your safety or your licence? Mercedes-Benz recommend that tyres are replaced when they reach 3mm tread depth or if there is any damage to the sidewalls, to ensure the road holding and safety of your car is not compromised.

- Our “MO” (Mercedes-Benz Original) mark on the tyre gives you the assurance that they are certified by us for your car.

- A tyre in poor condition will cause an MOT failure. - When tyres are worn your car’s stopping distance is increased, particularly in the wet. - Aquaplaning (when water collects under the tyre preventing road contact) becomes a possibility in the wet, causing the car to slide out of control.

• Improved driving dynamics

- Your car’s braking, acceleration, steering and cornering are all reliant on good tyre-to-road contact.

• Reduce road noise

- All approved tyres are developed to reduce impact on the environment by minimising road noise. This also improves driver and passenger comfort.
