Children’s fitted footwear brand, Start-rite, will be launching two
new product innovations at Moda Footwear. Among its a/w 10 offer
is a new kids’ range of training shoes designed in collaboration with
Gola, and Aqua-rite, its own range of fitted, waterproof product for
boys and girls.
Mood Footwear regular CAT returns with a brand new range of
footwear for men and women, alongside Rocket Dog drawing
inspiration from three key styles this season; Feminine vintage,
Ranch Living and Geometric while J Shoes explores the concept of
androgyny for a/w 10.
As well as the best footwear fashion from a/w 2010, Moda also
offers an exciting line-up of industry experts in this season’s Moda
Seminar programme. Helen Goodwin and Janet Billings from visual
display training company Made You Look Made You Stare!, will be
revealing how effective display can enable retailers to raise their
profiles and increase return on investment. Ecommerce expert Nick
Pratt of Sitemakers will be discussing how to understand your
online audience, and the future of multichannel retail. Thierry
Bayle, director of fashion retail management company Management
One, will reveal how to forecast sales with 90% accuracy, and offer
realistic solutions to improve your business.
Moda Footwear is also uniting with De Montfort University, for a
project which will see footwear designs created by the university’s
most talented students unveiled at the show.

oda is the UK’s largest fashion trade show and provides the
biggest selection of womenswear, menswear, footwear,
swimwear, lingerie and accessory brands all under one roof.
Moda Footwear is divided into sectors. Essential brings
together mainstream and comfort brands; Life unites all unisex and
lifestyle brands; Boutique is the place to find women’s fashion lines;
Express will be home to in-season collections; Kids’ Zone is a
specialist area dedicated to children’s footwear.
Moda Footwear returns to Birmingham’s National Exhibition Centre
in February bringing together its strongest line-up to date of big
name brands and brand new launches. Moda Footwear also
introduces new sections and unveils a new floor plan for the show.
Contemporary labels United Nude and Zimo London have added
their names to the growing list of directional fashion labels showing
for the first time at Moda Footwear as part of the events new edited
Platform section. They join Rakish Heels, Strutt Couture, Strutt
Couture by Zandra Rhodes and Feud.
Boxfresh, one of the instigators of the British streetwear boom, will
be bringing its latest footwear collection of directional shoes to
Moda for the first time alongside contemporary British label Peter
Werth. Cheaney also debuts at Moda Footwear in February. Its
collection for autumn/winter 2010 features new contemporary
shapes alongside the core classics line.
International footwear giant Hush Puppies is back at Moda
Footwear with its brand new autumn/winter 2010 collection for
men, women and kids alongside unconventional label Fly London
after a successful first appearance last season at Moda Footwear.
