I believe Bay Bea was the first to be built, then
Scaramouche (PJ112) then Aura (PJ115, I think).
While there are subtle differences in the deck layout,
my understanding is that the hulls are identical. I have
many, if not all, of the original blueprints.
From what I can tell, Aura is in pristine condition,
Scaramouche is completing a major refit, and Bay Bea
was fairly rough and had unfortunately been altered
significantly by someone who couldn’t complete the
project (thank God).
These boats were very early IOR boats and extremely
handsome, fast, and seaworthy as was intended by
Great Sailing Performance !!
Olin Stephens before the rule cheaters got to work and
produced boats that looked like floating Viagra pills
(whatever they are).
