Back in with the electric eraser to touch With the eyes and nose finished it now Using a white pencil crayon I add a layer
up the highlights. time to move onto the kitties whiskers. of background whiskers around the chin
of the tiger.
Using transparent Raw Umber I paint
over the pencil crayon marks to blend
them into the shadowy areas under the
tigers chin. By adding extra dark spots at
the base of the whiskers makes them look
like the are popping out towards you.
Now to finish this painting off with white pencil crayon I go over the areas around the
mouth of the tiger and add long random whiskers. I hope you enjoyed this article and
can apply some of these techniques to your own paintings.
