ow in its seventh year of operation, Full Circle Cater-
ing has become Virginia’s first Certified Green catering
company. Full Circle was awarded Green Certification by
the Green Restaurant Association (GRA), a national nonprofit
organization that offers the only official certification for green
foodservice operations.
The Rockbridge-based company has kept environmental
practices in mind since its inception. Full Circle was given
credit toward their Green Certification for sourcing sustain-
able foods and using non-toxic cleaning products; Energy
Star appliances; biodegradable, compostable and recyclable
paper supplies and disposables; and more.
“My family always recycled, and we even had a garden
in our yard where we grew our own vegetables,” says Full
Circle owner and founder, Jenny Elmes. “These are practices
that I’ve carried over into my business.”
