Teen Meditation Retreat

A
five-day meditation retreat at Camp Jaycee in the Blue
Ridge Mountains, December 29, 2009-January 3, 2010
December 29, 2009 - January 3, 2010 is designed to help teens deepen their awareness of self, the
world they live in, and the way they interact with others. The
retreat is sponsored by MAYA (Mindful Awareness for Young
Adults) and is led by an experienced, compassionate adult
staff.
According to Joe Klein, MAYA’s Virginia regional coor-

parents, jobs, and dating, etc. It can be difficult to find the
time and space to go inside and listen to the inner voice.
The relationship with one’s self, perhaps the most important
relationship of all to our well-being, is often neglected in our
action-oriented world.”
