Eastern offers a variety of
housing options that include
traditional-style rooms,
four-person suites with sin-
gle and double bedrooms,
and apartments ranging
from one-person efficien-
cies to six-person units.
Approximately two-thirds of
Eastern’s full-time students
live on campus.

There’s plenty to do if you
live on campus! More than
1,000 programs are put on
each year by Resident
Assistants and Residence
Hall Associations.

Students have high-speed
access to the University’s
computer network and the
Internet from their rooms.
Cable television and local
phone service are also
available.

Residences have recreation
and laundry facilities,
lounges, fitness rooms and
computer labs.

While it’s mandatory for all
first-year students to be on
a meal plan, many upper-
classmen also elect a plan
because of the convenience,
price, and variety of food.
A Nice Place to Live!
Life’s suite: The three-building South Residential Village features apartment-style suites
and beds for 750 students.
Lunch on the run: You can also pick up selections at the Closet Café food cart (located in Shafer Hall), at the
