“
A Perfect Fit I have always been a quiet person and am the first child in my family to live away
from home. I love my dorm. It is like a small family all its own! Living here has really helped me become
more independent. The campus and the class sizes are the perfect size for me.
A Challenging Curriculum
I am interested in becoming a psychologist — either working in a hospital-based setting or
opening a clinic someday. My favorite class is Psychology 100 and my favorite professor is
Margaret Letterman, who teaches the class. It is a challenging class, but she is always
there for me if I have questions or need help with my studies.
Diversity Matters
I visited a number of other colleges but chose Eastern because I like the diversity on
campus. Not only is the student population diverse, but the variety of classes, clubs and
activities are as well.
A World Of Culture Right Here
I am a member of OLAS, the Organization of Latin American Students. I love the club
because there are so many students who are from different nationalities like me who get
together. We have fun and support each other. Eastern just held Latin American
Awareness Month on
campus and OLAS is
about to have our
annual banquet.
