Now I’m only working on her face following the same steps as above, still
working pretty vaguely making sure the nose mouth, etc are in the right
place, as I will have time afterwards to bring more accurate details towards
the end of the design.
In this step I’m introducing a new skin tone between the dark and light tones,
in the body, the arms and her face. I’m starting to bring more details to the
breasts and stomach leaving the airbrush that she is bathing in for later as it
will be easy to overlap it afterwards.
All the way through this painting I’ve used free hand stencils Simon Murray’s
“B-Fast “stencils. I used the positive and negative part of a semi-circle to do the
nails and the fingers, using the light and dark skin tones for the fingers. The
details on her face and hair are free hand.
In this step I’ve masked all the positive area’s of the lady and the airbrush in
places only, leaving some areas unmasked so some of the overspray will act
as a reflection of the color when the airbrush is finished. I have painted the
background blue where it needed to be and created a star effect around the
lady.
In this image I worked on the airbrush using masking tape down the middle to
help create a chrome effect. I also worked on her hair and added bubbles and
soap to get rid of the hard edges to give the all painting harmony.
