Now I start to bring in tight white high
lights and high points of the face, the
glasses and facial hair. I’m pretty much
done as far going to the next level...the
weird level!
Now here comes the fun stuff! Now that
the portrait is done, at least done enough
to direct my bio-art, I start with white and
keep it tight to avoid as much overspray
as possible. I also make sure that the
white is opaque enough so that none of
the details of the portrait shows through.
The white freehand airbrush will almost
have a ghostly look to it and I will do the
complete bio-art till I’m satisfied with the
direction and initial results. There is no
set plan to this bio-art, just made it up
as I airbrushed and utilized the memory
of some good Giger art books and some
great nightmares!
