n September, the MICAM ShoEvent, presents a
not-to-be-missed international preview of the
Spring/Summer 2010 collections. As the most
important exhibition in the world dedicated to
medium-high and high level footwear, every year
international buyers flock to Milan Rho Expo Centre
to choose the footwear for their shop-windows that
will dictate next season's fashion.
The MICAM ShoEvent, an exhibition
organised by ANCI, National Association
of Italian Footwear Manufacturers,
will run from 16th to 19th
September 2009. Over 1,600
companies will put their collec-
tions on show, in about 72,000
square meters in this expo that
represents the international
point of reference for the trade in
the upper market ranges.

to market requirements which we
have implemented over the years” -
underlines Vito Artioli, President of ANCI - “has
shown the MICAM formula to be a winner, that has
established and consolidated its dominion over
international competitors. On the Milan fashion scene,
at this time of international economic difficulty,
MICAM is a great marketing opportunity for companies.
And they have demonstrated their confidence by
promoting their products through attendance at this, the
largest expo of top-level footwear."
The most prestigious Italian footwear manufacturers
are present, guaranteeing stylistic content, high
quality of materials and workmanship and innovative
design. Beside them, will be a considerable number of
foreign companies - almost 600 - whose presence in
Milan demonstrates the international kudos of the
event, not to mention the painstaking scouting
undertaken by the organisers.
Seminars, update sessions on market trends, meeting
places for the trade, are all part of MICAM ShoEvent's
