The future’s bright - the future’s Gumbies
S
ince arriving on these shores from downunder 3 years ago,
Gumbies have gone from strength to strength. The Shoeroos
have been carefully building the brand and its customers alike.
Constantly re developing and conjouring up new designs whilst
maintaining the brands motto "Fun, funktional footwear at fair prices"!
A pair for everyone, all ages, every walk of life. Made for living is what
they say on the box and thats just what they do. I constantly hear peo-
ple say " we live in ours!" or "Our kids never take them off" says MD
Michel Maurer. Its nice to know people are enjoying our products, long
may it last!. I was recently sent a holiday snap, a customers daughter on
the beach in spain in a swim suit with a pair of fury pink gumboots
on!!.
As well as developing the Gumbies range which started life as a
sports and outdoor footwear brand and now includes kids and womens
fashion, like the TUTTI FRUTTI wedge, out spring 2010. We have also
been concentrating on the EWE range which is all real wool and
leather based comprising of the classic Australian boot, slippers and
more. The latest additions to the range are the Rider which has a rub-
ber welly foot base and a premium grade leather riding boot upper.
Also the Moto, again rubber base with a cow suede biker style upper,
keeps your feet dry in wet weather but stylish and sophisticated at the
same time. Made to a high standard in Italy. This range is a higher
price point but still great value for money.
