Finland’s first
inland’s tallest amusement ride was
STAR
F
unveiled in May when Tykkimäki in
Kouvola opened the country’s first
Star Flyer. The ride is the latest version of the
hit attraction from Funtime in Austria and
FLYER
stands 72-metres tall with a top speed of
almost 70 km/h. The company has also
delivered Star Flyers to the Magical Midway in
Orlando, Allou Fun Park in Athens, Divo
Ostrov in St Petersburg, Tivoli in Copenhagen,
Holiday World and Hansa Park in Germany.
The original is operated by Funtime itself at the
Prater in Vienna. There are also two travelling
versions on the ride on the German
fairground circuit.
