MANUFACTURER
• The carpet manufacturer shall have no less
than 15 years of production experience with
modular carpet.
• The carpet manufacturer must provide
verification of its registration to the ISO 9001
Quality Management System and the ISO
14001 Environmental Management System
Standards.
• The carpet manufacturer must demonstrate
environmental responsibility and a
commitment to sustainability through
programmes of source reduction, recycling,
reuse and conservation.
CARPET TILE
• All carpets shall be tufted, manufacturer’s
first quality and recyclable through an existing
carpet reclamation programme.
• All carpets should be manufactured to meet
CRI (Carpet and Rug Institute of USA) Green
Label standards for VOC emissions.
PERFORMANCE STANDARDS
• The entire carpet tile should pass AATCC Test
Method 16 option E colorfastness to light.
(Negligible or No Change)
• The entire carpet tile should pass AATCC 134-
1996 Electrostatic Propensity of Carpets.
• The entire carpet should pass AATCC 174
Parts II and III, Antifungal Activity Assessment
of Carpet: Mildew and Rot Resistance.
