Forget it Kate
Kate Winslet may have "blown her chances"
of an Oscar by forgetting Angelina Jolie's
name at the Golden Globes, according to
film critic Barry Norman.
The actress embarrassingly referred to
Jolie as "the other one" when she reeled
off a list of her fellow nominees in the
best actress category. Norman, the BBC's
film critic for 26 years, said that it would
not go down well with Academy voters in
Hollywood. Discussing the best actress
Oscar, Norman said: "I really, really hope
that Kate Winslet gets it. I think they are all
good performances but I think hers is the
best. "But I have a nasty feeling that she
has blown her chances with that silly, silly
speech at the Golden Globes."
