It’s especially important to know the amount of time between prepping the first plate of food and delivering the last plate. This timeframe will determine how much holding time you’ll need to keep the food warm. Use the chart below to help you select all the components for a successful in-room dining program.

System Type & How It Works Insulated Base System Up to 30 minutes
Heated plates are placed within an insulated base and dome. This base/dome combination helps food retain its heat until ready to serve.
Dinex Smart-Therm System Up to 60 minutes
Bases are individually heated for 10 to 30 seconds as each plate is prepared. The sides of the base remain cool to the touch, helping minimize the risk of burns.
Camduction System Up to 60 minutes
Stainless steel construction for increased durability. heated base will be ready every 12 seconds.
Wax Pellets Up to 90 minutes
Pellets are heated and placed on an underliner. The retention for the longest holding times.
