BEN FLESHER

The Estes Proto-Z Micro Drone quadcopter is stable in flight and easily flips with a press of the transmitter button.
in flight. After a few minutes, I felt more comfortable and became brave enough to try the “flip” feature that my children saw on the box and were dying for me to try out. With a press of the left or right
transmitter button, the Proto-Z powered up the corresponding rotors to make the aircraft flip. For that split second, the Proto-Z flew itself. It was a little unnerving when I regained control to bring it back to level flight. After a few tries, I learned that height
before a flip was my friend. It became a neat feature that my children loved to see. I think the Proto-Z is a great upgrade
from the Proto-X. For more advanced pilots, the Proto-Z has ample power and maneuverability to move around. And with the addition of the flip feature, it can really put on a great show.
From this angle, you can see the four LED lights that help with orientation.
