MvBlueCougar-X IP67C For use in harsh environments, Matrix Vision now offers the IP67C option as an additional, cost- effective, compact and waterproof variant of its MvBlueCougar-X industrial camera. Te plug connections can be

screwed and there are two options for leak-tightness on the lens. Either a standard lens can be used in connection with a protective tube available in various lengths (40, 71, 100mm), or waterproof IP67 lenses can be used. MvBlueCougar-X Gigabit

Ethernet cameras cover the majority of possible application areas. Te

cameras have a large number of smart features such as flat field correction, colour correction, and white balance, which can be performed directly on the camera. Te image memory within the

camera ensures lossless image transmission and additionally serves as a buffer, i.e. in recording mode, which saves and outputs images in the camera. Te camera is compatible with

the GenICam and GigE Vision standards and supports all third- party image processing libraries that are compatible with GigE Vision. www.matrix-vision.com

PowerPick3D sensor An enhanced version of Isra Vision’s bin picking sensor is now available, enabling good results at an increased top speed. Tis solution not only uses powerful quad-

camera technology and an embedded system architecture, but also focuses on optimised robot path planning and a reliable multi- pick function that enables several parts to be picked reliably after just one scan. Te product is suitable for all major robot brands and can be deployed in production in a matter of hours.

Hr51 camera Te Hr51 camera from SVS-Vistek, with its resolution of 51 megapixels, is a good choice for numerous image processing applications. Te camera uses Gpixel’s Gmax4651

CMOS global shutter sensor, with 4.6µm square pixels and a dynamic range of 65dB. Tis pixel size is ideally suited for M58 lenses, and shading correction can be selected for entocentric and telecentric lenses. Te camera is available with Coaxpress (25fps) and 10GigE (10fps) interfaces. Industrial features such as dust-free housing cooling, an integrated four- channel flash controller, and operation via the GenICam GenTL interface make integration easy and inexpensive. Te camera is also a good replacement for cameras based on the discontinued KAI- 29050 sensor, as the sensor dimensions, pixel size and dynamic range are comparable. www.svs-vistek.com

Kestrel EMCCD Raptor Photonics has released the Kestrel, an ultra-fast EMCCD camera, offering single photon sensitivity at kilohertz frame rates for less than $25,000. Using a cooled back-

illuminated sensor, it offers high sensitivity from 350nm to 1,100nm with a peak quantum efficiency of 95 per cent at 600nm. Designed with a scientific

Te new PowerPick3D sensor is able to

recognise parts irrespective of their geometry or material. With an embedded PC, the smart sensor design does not require any extensive wiring to connect the camera and the PC. Tis accelerates data transmission and processing, enabling scan times of less than 0.5 seconds. Te multi-view images captured by the

quad-camera system enables reliable object detection via the precise generation of a point cloud – even when there are shadows and reflections on a component. www.isravision.com

grade 16-bit A/D converter, the camera has a resolution of 128 x 128 pixels with 24µm square pixels, and provides a standard Camera Link output. It can operate up to 2kHz with ROI. Applications include

wavefront sensing, adaptive optics, space debris tracking, calcium signalling, fluorescence imaging, as well as tracking fast objects. www.raptorphotonics.com

LX 10 GigE cameras Baumer is expanding its 10 GigE cameras of the LX series with four new models. Serial production will commence this year. Equipped with Sony Pregius S sensors, the

cameras provide 50fps at 24 megapixels. Te Gpixel models offer an even higher resolution of 65 megapixels at 18fps. Tis benefits applications such as the inspection of printed circuit boards, displays or semiconductors, as well as 3D measurement technology, and track and trace. Te LX models offer a wide range of

functions including multi-ROI, shading correction, HDR, precise time synchronisation according to IEEE 1588, or the direct control of illumination. Robust M12 plug connectors, protection

class IP65 and IP67, as well as a temperature range from -30°C to 60°C make the cameras especially well-suited for harsh ambient conditions. Tanks to their 10 GigE interface they can be easily, cost-effectively integrated, while the images can be transmitted at 1.1GB/s, reducing the evaluation time. www.baumer.com
