Wow, time fl ies! Our mission stays the same: we exist to promote Natural Healthy Living in our community.
We have worked hard to get here, and we did not give up once. Some of us have
changed our lives and our lifestyles completely, rebuilding them from the ground up. The foundation that we built on is a set of fundamental principles that are viewed as radical insofar as they run against the mainstream narrative, but really shouldn’t be radical at all. These principles are based in the general understanding that natural things are better than things that are artifi cial, synthetic, and man-made. Natural substances are better than synthetic chemicals. Things that are grown are better without additional processing by industrial means. This preference for the natural is still viewed skeptically by some, which is odd, since it ought to be the default view. For example, what we call “organic gardening” my grandparents would have called “gardening.” What is now called “farming” really ought to be called “farming with genetically-modifi ed seeds that are altered in a laboratory by combining genes from completely unrelated species, then drowned with petroleum-based fertilizers and toxic chemical pesticides and herbicides.” Sadly, what was called farming 100 years ago now has to carry an expensive extra label such as “organic” or “non-GMO.” Gladly, what will unfold in this new year is a culmination of many years
of raising consciousness. Enough people have begun to wake up—a critical mass has been reached. People have woken up because the truth has been disseminated by independent media sources and by word-of-mouth. The most persuasive evidence is seeing the results in individuals who fully adopted more natural lifestyles. We see them get healthier. They became radiantly healthy, glowing with life. Their light grew and expanded exponentially. They became enthusiastic about their natural paths. Their experience, and the new energy they embody, sends a signal to us that positive change continues. Trust your intuition. The notion that Natural is Better is hardwired in our humanity—never to be eradicated—even by the electrochemical assault of modern life. Remember: we are creatures of nature, and we can trust our intuition about what is good for us and what is not. May you discover healthy ideas, renewed inspiration and like-minded friends to help spread the good news.
