Religious Education and Collective Worship are a cornerstone of the life and work of the school. The school fulfi ls all statutory requirements in respect of parental right of withdrawal of their children.


Key Stage 5 (Years 12-13)


The sixth form (Years 12 and 13) is both large and well established, comprising currently of over 250 students. Students studying at this level are, in the main, pursuing AS and A Level courses in preparation for entry into Universities and Colleges and professional training.


Students are able to access courses as part of the Cynon Valley Consortium, such as Media and Performing Arts.


HOME SCHOOL AGREEMENT Details of the Home School agreement are available from the Main School Offi ce.


Mid Course Entry


Mid course vacancies arise from pupils leaving the school, notably through the departure of their families from the area. These vacancies will be fi lled from potential applicants who have applied and have been held on a waiting list until such a vacancy occurs.


Such applications are treated by the Governors, again against the background of their Initial Entry criteria.
