Performance Data/ Worship


Each day there is a daily act of worship either form prayers or assembly as per the published rota. Services are held to mark major festivals throughout the year.

Holiday Requests


‘Missing 10 days of school each year = almost 1 whole year of school lost by the age of 16.’


In line with Local Authority Guidance, the school has a ‘zero tolerance’ approach to authorisation of school holidays. Please do not ask for leave for family holiday in term time if you can avoid this. If you do you have to ask for permission to take your child out of school for a holiday, please complete a holiday advice form (available from the school offi ce) at least two weeks prior to the holiday.


“A pupil’s absence during term time can seriously disrupt their continuity of learning. Not only do they miss the teaching provided on the days they are away, they are also less prepared for the lessons building on that after their return. There is a consequent risk of underachievement, which we, and you, must seek to avoid.” (RCT Guidance)
